Curriculum

Our school is based on Christian principles.  We feel that it is important for all children attending the school to take part in our assemblies since the family and caring principles they encourage will benefit everyone. Children of any faith are welcome.
 
In addition we teach all areas of the National Curriculum including:
 

·       English

·       Maths

·       Science

·       Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

·       Physical Education (PE)

·       Art

·       Design Technology (DT)

·       Music

·       History

·       Geography

 

In addition we also teach Religious Education which incorporates Christian Education, as well as Lifeskills which is a less formal way of providing the children with the knowledge, skills and understanding of their immediate and wider environment, preparing them to be active, responsible citizens at local, national and international level.

On top of this every child learns to play the recorder, to speak French and takes part in weekly swimming lessons.
