Extra-Curricular

The School day runs from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
The last half-hour of each afternoon (from 3.30 - 4pm) is devoted to compulsory prep/homework study under the supervision of the class teacher for the older children (years 2-6) and for the younger children is a vital story telling and social time (years R and 1).

School Extra-curricular Activities

We offer a variety of different school clubs, which change each term and have included cookery, art, keyboard, guitar, gardening, chess, circus skills, computers etc. Some of these run at lunchtimes for which there is no charge, others run from 4pm to 5pm on various nights. We will always try our best to provide a club if the demand is there and the clubs change termly. Click Here to see clubs currently being offered.
Activity Week
Each summer the school holds an Activity Week which is dedicated to building independence, trust, team spirit and a sense of belonging to the school family. For years R-2 this involves a themed week in school with various day trips out. For years 3-6 this involves a residential trip away where the children will get the opportunity to try out various activities for example canoeing, abseiling, grass sledging or archery.
